WARD ADMINISTRATOR - NZAUI/KILILI/KALAMBA WARD (1 POST)
Terms of Service
: Permanent and Pensionable
Salary: Kshs 56,370 x 2,750 – 59,120 x 2,920 – 62,040 x 3,080 – 65,120 x 3,440 – 68,560 x 3,590 – 72,150 x 3,790 – 75,940 x 3,800 – 79,740 x 3,810 – 83,550 x 3,810 – 87,360p.m

 Duties and Responsibilities

  •           Coordinating, managing and supervising the general administration functions in the ward unit.
  •           Liaising with National Government staff at the ward level.
  •           Ensuring effective service delivery.
  •           Establishing, implementing, and monitoring performance management systems.
  •           Coordinating developmental activities to empower the community.
  •           Providing and maintaining infrastructure and facilities of public service.
  •           Facilitating and coordinating citizen participation in the development of policies and delivery of services.
  •           Exercising any functions and powers delegated by the County Public Service Board or any other authority.

Requirements for Appointment

  •           Be a Kenyan citizen
  •           Be a holder of a first degree from a university recognized in Kenya in Social Sciences with a working experience in Community Development of not less than 9 years o
  •           Post-secondary education certificate or Diploma and experience of not less than 12 years in Community Service/development
  •           Demonstrate a thorough understanding of devolution, the County Development objectives and vision 2030
  •           Satisfy the requirements of Chapter Six of the constitution
  •           Be computer literate.

VILLAGE ADMINISTRATORS (2 POSTS)
NZAUI VILLAGE ADMINISTRATOR - NZAUI/KILILI/KALAMBA WARD & KATHULUMBI VILLAGE ADMINISTRATOR - KALAWA WARD.

Terms of Service: Permanent and Pensionable
Salary: Kshs. 25,470 x1,110 – 26,580 x1,120 – 27,700 x 1,150 – 28,850 x1,170 – 30,020 x1,250 – 31,270 x 1,300 – 32,570 x 1,380 – 33,950 p.m.

Duties and Responsibilities

  •           Coordinate general administration functions and service position I the village
  •           Assist in dissemination and implementation of policies and plans at the village
  •           Assist in developing and implementing activities to empower communities
  •           Monitor and report on infrastructure and public facilities status
  •           Facilitate of citizen participation in village councils
  •           Mobilize citizens to attend public participation events/activities
  •           Mobilize and educate citizens to participate in development projects
  •           Prepare monthly and quarterly progress reports
  •           Perform any other function delegated by the supervision
  •           Exercising any functions and powers delegated by the County Public Service Board

Requirements for appointment
