Makueni Public Service Board Recruits More Officers to Boost Service Delivery
The Makueni County Public Service Board has recruited 80 new officers from a pool of 373 shortlisted candidates who competed for 106 advertised positions. The recruitment interviews were conducted between 23rd April and 29th May 2026. They include ECD teachers, finance officers and health personnel.
The newly recruited officers are expected to strengthen key departments, including Finance, Devolution, and Health, helping to bridge workforce gaps and enhance service delivery to Makueni residents.
Speaking during a press briefing, Public Service Board Chairman Benjamin Kasamba emphasized the importance of public awareness and sensitization on the recruitment process. He noted that many applications fail to meet the required standards due to common and avoidable mistakes made by applicants.
